London-based brothers Loral and Ronnel Raphael, pka Sons of Raphael, have revealed the title track from their debut EP A Nation of Bloodsuckers with a spectacular self-directed video to boot. 'A Nation of Bloodsuckers' pairs the golden-era songwriting skills of The Beach Boys with bang up-to-date lo-fi production and the occasional gritty guitar jaunt. The accompanying video sets the scene with a poignant introduction by Ronnel, "I believe in a God who believes in me more than I believe in him. I was not born with a God, I inherited him from my father along with a surname and a passport. I hold a dual citizenship; in heaven and earth. If I am not for myself who is for me? And being for my own self, what am I? And if not now, when?”, before the duo emerge from darkness, rocking out in front of a fairground carousel.
